Helen Katherine Richmond, age 108, of Ludington, Michigan formerly of Lake Odessa passed away on Saturday, June 8, 2024. She was born on January 5, 1916 t John and Magdelena ( Volseck) Sedlar in Kaleva, MI. Helen worked at the Lake Odessa Canning Company as a clerk and was very active in St. Edwards Catholic Church as well as helping The Diocese of Grand Rapids. In 108 years life she saw much and brought love and guidance to many.
She will be dearly missed by; her children Richard (Ely) Richmond, John (Karlene) Richmond, Don Richmond, Ronald Richmond and Marge Wisniewski, many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
Preceding Helen in death are her parents, Husband Cecil Richmond, siblings Frank Sedlar, Tony Sedlar, John Sedlar, William Sedlar, Bertha Egleston, Martin Sedlar, Margaret Hardy, son-in-law Art Wisniewski and daughter-in-law Juanita Richmond.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 13th at 12noon at Koops Funeral Chapel with graveside services to follow at 1pm at Lakeside Cemetery, Lake Odessa.
