James "Bob" McCown, age 70, of Woodland, Michigan passed away on Wednesday, June 15, 2022. Bob was born August 19, 1951 to Terry and Charlotte McCown in Detroit. Bob worked for the Lakewood Schools as a bus mechanic until he retired in 2006. He loved to hunt, fish and go mushroom hunting. Bob preferred spending his vacations in the Upper Peninsula, being a country boy at heart.
He will be missed by; his daughter Kristy (Shawn) Frizzell, sister Donna (Ken) Thompson, granddaughters Makenna and Ashlyn, 2 nieces and 2 nephews.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents and sister Karen Wilson.
According to his wishes cremation has taken place and a Celebration of his LIfe will be held at Koops Funeral Chapel on June 25, 2022 at 12 noon.
Memorials in Bob's name can be given to the Woodland Eagles.
