Kenneth M Ost

Kenneth Ost, age 69, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday, August 24, 2025 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Ken was born on August 24, 1956 to Fred and Dolores ( Elliott) in Kalamazoo, MI. Ken was a 1974 graduate of Lakewood High School. Ken loved being on a tractor in the fields, working up the land, planting corn, soybeans and wheat. He was a great role model to his nieces, nephews and neighborhood kids that wanted to learn the ropes of being a farmer. Always there to lend a hand to anyone in need. His family was his true joy in life. Time spent with his great nieces & nephews were his most treasured. He was a devoted, son, brother, uncle and great friend to all. He was fair and honest and the most generous man around. He will be greatly missed.

Ken leaves behind his; special friend Tanya Koetje, siblings Charles (Mary Jane Vanderstow) Ost, Tammie (Tim) Zook, Charlotte (Rick) France, Margaret (Steve) Sabo and Betty (Mike) Goodemoot, along with many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by his parents and infant twin sister Martha.

A Celebration of life will be held at the Grace Brethren Church on Vedder Rd on September 20th, 2025. Visitation will be from 10am until 12 noon with the service beginning at noon and a luncheon to follow the service. We ask that everyone, man, woman, or child wear your favorite "Farm Cap" in Honor of Ken.

In Lieu of flowers donations can be made to St. Jude's Children Research Hospital in Ken's name.
