It is with sad hearts that we share the loss of our father, grandfather and great-grandfather Lee Floyd Ritter, age 88, of Hastings who passed away on April 15, 2026. Lee worked for many companies through his years (Morrison Lake Golf Course, Universal, Saranac Milk Plant, Chrysler and OLDS), before joining Bradford and Whites, retiring with 30 years of service. Dad worked nights at Bradford and Whites so he could work for the neighboring farmers during the day, his job of passion. Dad enjoyed NASCAR racing, inspiring him to work on the cars in the pits at local racetracks with the guys from Whites. Lee was born to Gordon and Grace Ritter on December 9, 1937. He married Linda Bennett on June 8, 1957, and spent 59 years together until her passing in 2016. Lee is survived by his children Phil (Cindy), Mike (Carol), Pam, Greg (Brenda). Grandchildren Lauren, Beth (Matt), Amber, Ryan, Jordan, Brittany, Megan. Great Grandchildren Greyson, Danielle, Jaxson. Siblings Dorothy Walter, Richard Ritter. In-laws Val (Rosalyn) Bennett, Max (Sandy) Bennett, Betty Bennett, Thomas Schrenk, Hubert Tracer. Aunts Betty Livingston and Ethel Lehman. Relatives and friends may visit with the family on April 20th, 2026 at Koops Funeral Home from 3pm until 6pm. In Lee fashion please feel free to wear your flannel shirt.
