

Lyle K. Miller, 64, of Freeport, passed away on December 6, 2016 in a car accident. He was born on January 7, 1952 to Ovid and Lydia Miller at Hastings, MI. Lyle was a 1970 graduate of Lakewood High School. On August 26, 1972, he married Delores Nordhof and she survives. Lyle’s true joy in life was spending time with his children and grandchildren. He also enjoyed hobby farming with all kinds of animals for him and the children to enjoy. When not farming or working he enjoyed camping, canoeing, and traveling. The family will always remember Lyle’s willingness to help anyone.
Lyle is survived by his loving spouse of 44 years Delores, two daughters, Tina (Ed) Parish of Clarksville, MI, Melissa (Chris) Blievernicht of Ionia, MI; son, Matt Miller of Clarksville, MI; four brothers, David (Janice) Miller, Lloyd (Suzanne) Miller, Eldon (Jeannette) Miller, Duane Miller; three grandchildren, Jacob Parish, Ian Miller, Mia Miller; in laws, Richard (Nancy) Nordhof; two sister in laws, Diane (Floyd) Kloc, Barbara (Tom) Leeuw and Mary Miller; three brother in laws, Tom Nordhof, David (Monica) Nordhof, Howard (Linda) Nordhof; honorary daughters Tracy Michaud and Janel (David) Montes.
He was preceded in death by father, Ovid Miller; mother, Lydia Miller. A Celebration of Life for Lyle will be held on Saturday, December 17, 2016, 2:00 pm until 5:00pm at the Freeport Community Center, 209 State Street, Freeport, 49325 MI.
