Marilyn Leslie-Courtney, 88, of Lake Odessa, passed away on July 22, 2016 at Spectrum Health Butterworth Campus. Marilyn was born on September 6, 1927 to John and Madeline (Jackson) Coffey in Lansing, MI. She was a member of Central United Methodist Church of Lake Odessa. Marilyn was an avid bowler and golfer, enjoyed the local beach with her family. She had worked as a secretary at Lakewood High school and the McCartney Agency.
Marilyn is survived by her loving spouse Warren Courtney; two daughters, Deborah (Ira) Ginsburg, Jeanne Baker; son, Richard (Jane) Leslie; 8 grandchildren, 7 step grandchildren. 29 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe J Leslie, her parents and brother, Dewey Coffey.
Visitation will be held at Koops Funeral Chapel, Inc., Lake Odessa, MI on Tuesday, July 26, 2016 from 6pm until 8pm.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 27, 2016 at 11am at the Central United Methodist Church in Lake Odessa.
Burial will take place in the Lakeside Cemetery.
