Neko Meyers

Neko Kay Meyers, age 38, of Hastings, passed away Wednesday, April 11, 2012. She was born December 29, 1973 in Greenville, the daughter of Don and Bonnie (Rasmussen) Houck. Neko was married to Steve Meyers on July 22, 2000. She was currently attending Baker College in Muskegon where she was on the Dean's List each semester and would have graduated in June with Honors with her Associate's Degree in Human Resources. Neko was a member of the Redemption Rider's, loved riding her motorcycle and making jewelry. She was a great sister/friend. She was preceded in death by her mother, Bonnie. Surviving is her husband, Steve; stepchildren, Kristin, Garth, James and Steven; father, Don Houck; grandmother, Doris Rasmussen; step-brothers, Dennis Houck, Tracy Houck and Donnie Houck; many aunts, uncles and cousins. Visitation with the family will be held from 5-8 pm on Saturday at Koops Funeral Chapel – Lake Odessa. Funeral Services for Neko will be conducted at 3 pm on Sunday at Outreach Christian Church, 7831 N. Jordan Lake Road, Lake Odessa. Interment at Lakeside Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be directed to the charity of the donor's choice.
