Norma Jean Stuart

Norma Jean Stuart, aged 81, of Clarksville, was called Home on Saturday morning, June 12, 2010. Norma was born in Clarksville, MI on March 17, 1929 to Raymond and Ewilda (Shafer) David. She graduated from Saranac High School in 1947, and was united in marriage to Lester D. "L.D." Stuart, Jr. on May 22, 1948. Norma is survived by L.D., her loving husband of 62 years; children, Marlene and Doug Denny, and Dale and Deb Stuart; 6 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; and brother, Ken (Evelyn) David. She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Linda Stuart; and sister, Carolyn David. Visitation will be held at the Koops Funeral Chapel in Lake Odessa on Monday, June 14 from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM. The funeral and committal services will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, June 15 at the Clarksville Bible Church. (Please be aware that Nash Highway is scheduled to be closed on Tuesday for repair work on the railroad crossing south of Clarksville.) Burial will be in Clarksville Cemetery. The family has suggested that memorial contributions may be made to the donor's favorite charity.
