Patricia J Barrett

On May 23, 2023, The good Lord called Patricia home to be reunited with her mother, Ruth and her father, Ross.Patricia was born in Lansing Michigan and lived there until she moved to San Antonia Texas in 1976. She was a seamstress by trade and became a well respected interior decorator for Boggs-Oehler Company for 33 years. Upon her retirement in 2008, she moved back to Michigan where she resided in Lake Odessa until her passing. She led an exemplary life, redecorating homes throughout South Texas , some parts of Mexico and Napa Valley, California.

In the last six years of her life, Mom suffered from Dementia. If it wasn't for the professional care provided by Cindy Sturdavant and the training she taught me, Mom would not have been able to stay in her home until the very end of her life. The thought of her putting her in a care facility was unconscionable! A big shout out to Cindy for all her help.

Mom is also survived by her daughter, Heather, and grandchildren, Leah and Dan, Katie and Kenneth. Great grand daughter, Paige.

Interment will take place at 1:00, Friday, May 26, at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Lansing Michigan.
