Perry H. Stowell

Perry H. Stowell, age 93, of Woodland passed away at his home Monday, September 02, 2013. Perry was born in Woodland on February 14, 1920 to Henry F. and Eva (Makely) Stowell. He was a lifelong area farmer and worked as a Farm Equipment Salesman for Patz Farm Equipment earning many awards. Perry in his younger years enjoyed traveling and riding horses, especially Dynamite. Perhaps what will be missed most about Perry was his joy of talking, with some good natured kidding. Perry is survived by: wife Norma June, children Julie Ann (Lorin Clark) Oversmith, Rodger Gardner Stowell, grandchildren Felicia Cook, Greg Stowell, Darin Stowell, Brian (Laura) Stowell, many great-grandchildren, many great-great-grandchildren and step children Diane Graner, Bonnie Witt, Peggy Wilkins, Thomas Carter, Timothy Carter. Preceding Perry in death are his parents and brother Russell Stowell. Visitation is planned for Wednesday, September 4, 2013 at Koops 2-4, 6-8pm Funeral Chapel 935 4th Ave, Lake Odessa MI 48849. Funeral services will be held Thursday, September 5, 2013 11am at Koops Funeral Chapel, interment will immediately follow at Woodland Memorial Park.
