So sorry to hear of your loss.  I just read about Tadum's death in the Ionia paper today 12/15/09. I drove special ed. school bus for Belding and I had the privilege of transporting Tadum I believe it was from FA to Boyce School in the AM and from Boyce back to FA in the PM to catch her bus.  She was always such a happy girl and always a big smile on her face.  This was many years ago.  I can't believe she was 29 already.  From the picture in the paper she was a beautiful young lady. Even when I was done transporting her I always went to say HI to the students I had on my bus whenever I was at FA.  They are all very special and Tadum was one. I first met Tadum this past fall as a small group of us rehearsed for the play Steel Magnolias. Shannon or Shelle, her caregivers brought her to rehearsals and she quickly became a part of us and a reminder of the beautiful and positive message the story conveys. I know that her laughter and light touched all of us. She will always remain a part of a very special memory for us. Tatum sure did add a special something to our production of Steel Magnolias. Shannon would bring her there several times a week and she would thoroughly enjoy her time with us as we did with her. I know that the entire cast became very fond of her and her laughter.     I will also remember her listening to Shannon play her songs on the pianos that were on the corner of Hastings downtown. Tate was more precious to me than words can say. I thank the Lord for my time taking care of her as a babysitter and friend. It is through her that I made life long friendships with Dar, Zack, & Lydia. From getting stuck in snow drifts to playing at Lake Michigan we had a lot of good times and made some great memories. I remember Tadum Marie riding in the boat this summer.  She laughed and laughed and was thrilled by the wind in her hair.  She especially enjoyed when her wheelchair was faced toward the back of the boat so she could watch Shelle tube.  She would throw her head back and give a hearty laugh!  What a joyous child of God!
