Verle Duane Stahl

He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Therese (Desotell), along with two children; Gerald (Julie) Stahl and Ilse (Kevin) Gaugier; two granddaughters, Angela Stahl and Stephanie (Brian Zook) Stahl; and one great-grandson, Evan Stahl. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Verle was known for his love of music, including his skill as a yodeler, and his love of Farmall tractors, especially his beloved “Old Emma”. He was actively involved in his church and the Gideons for many years. Verle spent his retirement from farming by driving truck, mowing lawn, and cutting wood. He was at his happiest when doing outdoor activities. His presence and his gift of gab will be missed by many.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 28, 2017 at Calvary Grace Brethren Church at 11:00 a.m. Visitation will take place one hour prior to the service from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, the family would like donations given to the Gideons.
