It is with great sadness that the family of Al Vedernjak announces his passing on Wednesday, January 25, 2023 at the age of 84. Al was born in the Bronx, NY and lived there until moving to Queens Village upon marriage, and then to South Florida in 1980. He was an avid sports fan who loved football and baseball especially. Al will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Esther and his children Kenny, Lynn, Gregg and Sharon. Al will also be fondly remembered by his grandchildren, Robby, Bo and Randy, and his great-grandchildren, Phil, Bradley, and Sierra. He is predeceased by his grandson, Jason, and his granddaughter Melissa.
Al will be placed along with his brothers in service on Monday, February 27th at 2:30 PM at the South Florida National Cemetery, 6501 State Road 7, Lake Worth, Fl 33449. Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.dorsey-smithmemorygardens.com for the Vedernjak family.
