We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Amy Lloyd Watts, who left us unexpectedly on August 2, 2024 at the age of 67. Amy was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and a friend to many. She brought joy, laughter and memories to all who knew her.
Amy was born on 12/13/1956 in Bethesda, Maryland to her loving parents and Ralph and Jean Lloyd. She grew up in Lake Clarke Shores and attended Meadow Park Elementary and was a proud alumni of Forest Hill High School, where she excelled academically and made lifelong friends.
After graduating, Amy pursued a career in banking as a Branch Manager and then joined the Accounting Firm of Crowe LLP where she had been a valued employee since 2001. She quickly became known for her hard work, dedication, and kindness. She loved meeting new staff, helping them get acclimated and watching their development. She was a true team player and always went above and beyond to help others.
Amy devoted many years to Phi Delta Kappa where her husband Richard is a member. She made countless lifelong friends and family who will cherish her memory for many years.
Amy is survived by her husband of 46 years Richard Watts, daughters Michelle and Rebecca Watts, grandson Brantley Watts, sister Nancy Quick and many great nieces and nephews. She cherished spending time with her family and friends, whether it was going on adventures, sharing a meal, or simply enjoying each other's company.
Amy will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her bright smile, infectious laughter, her witty jokes and compassionate heart will live on in the memories of those she touched.
Amy has loved each and every one of our fur baby pets and the family requests that donations be made to Barky Pines Animal Rescue and Sanctuary located in Loxahatchee, FL. in Amy's honor. This is where we most recently adopted her Granddog Papi. She loved “the farm” and their mission to help animals of all kinds. https://barkypinesanimalrescue.com/
Rest in peace, dear Amy. You will always hold a special place in our hearts. Fly high with all the loved ones you missed so much that we lost along the way.
A Memorial Service for Amy will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday, August 29, 2024 at Christ Fellowship - South Campus, 5312 Northlake Blvd., Palm Beach Gardens, FL 33418.
