Age 82 of Palm Springs, FL left for heaven on Tuesday, June 28, 2011. Born in Methuen, Massachusetts on September 3, 1928, served in the Navy and worked for Raytheon. In 1973, he and his family moved to Florida and he retired from Pratt & Whitney after 18 years. He was preceded in death by the love of his life, Gloria Crabtree O’Rourke, wife of 40 years.
Bernie leaves to cherish his memory: children, Bernard M. O’Rourke and Tracy Christine Seaman; grandson and best friend, Scott M. Seaman II; and a host of nieces and nephews, family and friends.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00pm on Saturday, July 2, 2011 at the funeral home. Friends may visit from 1:00-2:00pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are requested to Hospice of Palm Beach County.
