Catherine R. Mosley, lovingly known as Kathy or Mum Mum, 81, passed away peacefully on August 11, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family. Born on October 4, 1943, Kathy lived a life centered on faith, kindness, and the joy of bringing people together.
She was the devoted wife of Robert Mosley, with whom she shared 57 wonderful years of marriage. Together, they built a family rooted in love and connection, raising their son, William Mosley, their daughter, Bonnie Hartke, and later cherishing four beloved grandchildren.
When someone passes from this life, we’re reminded of how fragile and precious our time here truly is. Life is a fleeting breath, a brief light, but within it, we hold the power to leave behind something eternal — love. Kathy’s happiest moments were those spent with her family, whether it was during the holidays or just to pass the time. Her home was always warm and welcoming; a place where everyone felt comfortable and loved. The moments she shared, her laughter echoing into each heart, the warmth she’d offer in times of need — these are the things that linger like treasures from memories of kindness that made the world just a little brighter. She was patient and gentle, selfless and giving, and the sweetest person you could ever meet—never judgmental and always as sweet as the candy she enjoyed indulging in.
Kathy was preceded in death by her twin brother, George Geiser, and her mother, Alma Geary.
She is survived by her loving husband, Robert Mosley; her son, William Mosley, her daughter, Bonnie Hartke, and her four grandchildren, Steven-Matthew Mosley, Theresa-Marie Mosley, Zachary Hartke, and Hannah Hartke.
Her gentle spirit, unwavering love, and dedication to family will never be forgotten. Kathy leaves behind a legacy of compassion, warmth, and generosity that will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 30, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at Dorsey-E. Earl Smith Funeral Home, 3041 Kirk Road, Lake Worth, Florida 33461. Family and friends are invited to gather, honor her memory, and share the many beautiful stories she leaves behind.
“I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us.”
