Daniel Roy Philcox

Daniel Roy Philcox passed away on November 21, 2021, in West Palm Beach Florida. He died of complications of hereditary heart disease at the age of 27. Daniel leaves behind a host of grieving friends and family members as he was well-known and loved by so many. He touched our hearts and was a ray of light in this world.

Daniel was born May 29, 2019, 1994 in Freehol, New Jersey to parents Gary Roy Philcox and Patrica Nolan. He moved from Willmington, North Carolina to Florida when he was two years old.

He became fascinated at a very young age with guitars and music, and he never ceased pursuing this passion. He played mainly guitar and bass with several bands; his impromptu beach playing and singing will be sorely missed.

Daniel was very interested in history and had a vast knowledge of many subjects. He graduated from Greenacres Christian Academy in 2012.

Danny Roy is preceded in death by his mother Patrica Nolan, his brother Cheyenne Donnelly, his best friend Tommy Chong, his grandfather LeRoy Philcox and his grandmother Michelle Philcox.

He is survived by his mother, Susan Lynch Philcox, his father Gary Roy Philcox, sister Meggin Heuring, brother Matthew Strizver, his uncles Gene Philcox (Julia), Michael Philcox (Ana) and his Aunt Maria (Lawrence).

Daniel is survived by his cousins Caitlin Chavez Lange (Nick), Lindsey Chavez, Camila Philcox, Ryan Philcox, Caleb Huertas, a host of friends and acquaintances, and his dog Jake.
