

Donald Edward Wilson, 82, of Lantana, Florida, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, June 19, 2015. He was born in West Palm Beach, Florida on October 31, 1932 and was raised in Lake Worth by his parents Ed and Dorothy Wilson. Don graduated from Lake Worth High School in 1950 and completed two years of college at Palm Beach Junior College before being drafted during the Korean War. He was married to Ella Louise Jordan (Wilson) on March 26, 1955. Don worked as an IBEW-Local 323-728 electrician for Hime Electric as a superintendent for over 25 years. He was a member of the First Congregational Church of Lake Worth and had a passion for family, friends, Miami Dolphins, fishing and bingo at church. He is survived by: his beloved wife Ella Louise Wilson; son, Mark E. and wife Lori Wilson, son; Neil E. Wilson; grandchildren, Paige V. Wilson, Michael D. Wilson, Lindsey N. Ripley, Holly M. Paquette, and Nicholas R. Paquette (predeceased); and sister, Carol Lynn Wilson (predeceased). A visitation will be held at Dorsey E. Earl Smith on Monday, June 22nd from 5:00-7:00PM with a funeral service on Tuesday, June 23rd at 10:00AM. Interment will follow at Lake Worth Memory Gardens. Contributions can be made to the First Congregational Church of Lake Worth in Memory of Donald E. Wilson. He will be forever missed by his family and friends.
