Eilien B. LaBella

Eilien B. Wescott LaBella, 79 years old, of Loxahatchee, FL, passed away on Wednesday, September 30, 2015. She was born on Wednesday, August 5, 1936 in Mt. Kisco, NY. Eilien spent her early life in Connecticut and moved to Florida with her family in 1970.

Eilien was a domestic goddess, general to a family of seven, a black belt weapons master of the wooden spoon and a NASCAR commentator specializing in all things relating to Jeff Gordon. She believed in the Holy Trinity: Cigarettes, Coffee and FOX News. She was never one to hold back her opinion and said what she felt at any moment whether you wanted to know it or not!

She worked for many years doing research and development for Costco in Royal Palm Beach (also known as one of the sample ladies)! Having spent many years cooking for five children, seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren working at Costco was an easy day.

Eilien was predeceased by her husband of 32 years, Charles "Ronnie" LaBella; her parents, Vernon and Dorothy Wescott of Litchfield, CT; her sister, Dorothy "Dottie" Fischer of Litchfield, CT; her brothers, Raymond Wescott of New Preston, CT, Rollin Wescott of Torrington, CT and Clark Wescott of Woodbury, CT.

She is survived by her daughters, Deborah LaBella and Karen LaBella, both of West Palm Beach, her sons, Charles "Chuck" LaBella of New Preston, CT, Scott LaBella of Wellington, FL and Larry LaBella of Palm Beach Gardens. She is also survived by her grandchildren Jamie Gotthelf, Jodi Gotthelf Fiset, Jade LaBella Athas, Julie LaBella Labshere, Ethan LaBella, Alicia LaBella and Brittany LaBella; and her great-grandchildren: Dan, Jacob, Joshua, Callie, Cohen and Wesley and her brother, Vernon "California Brother" Wescott of San Diego, CA.

Eilien was a member of the Community of Hope Church in Loxahatchee.

Memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 10, 2015, 1:00 P.M. at Community of Hope Church, 14101 Okeechobee Blvd., Loxahatchee (corner of Okeechobee and "E' Road).
