Eleanore “Dusty” Luongo, age 82 of Boynton Beach, passed away suddenly on November 28, 2016. She is predeceased by her husband Michael Luongo. She will be lovingly remembered by her four children, daughters Michelle Luongo of Boynton Beach and Maureen Luongo of Delray Beach, sons Michael Jr. and Matthew and his wife Debbie, of Sussex, NJ, three grandchildren, Nina and her husband John, Michael III and Tiana, and a great granddaughter Kayleigh.
She was a member of the Boynton Women’s Club, the Boynton Beach Garden Club, and loved to play Mahjong on Wednesdays. She donated her time and talent to many causes dear to her heart.
Her creative outlet led to many awards and accolades amongst her peers. She had a talent for creative projects which included scrapbooking, calligraphy, and flower arranging. She was also an avid traveler, which took her to many destinations with her best friend and husband, Mike.
Her devotion to her faith kept her active, as a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church and the Council of Catholic Women in Lantana.
Funeral Mass at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 1000 W Lantana Rd, Lantana, FL 33462 on Friday, December 9, 2016 at 12 Noon followed by inurnment at the National Cemetery, 6501 N State Rd 7, Lake Worth, FL 33449.
