Eric Robert "Tator Tot" Lucas

Eric "Tator Tot" Lucas, 20, of Wellington, FL, passed away unexpectedly in Lantana, FL on December 4, 2013. Eric leaves behind his loving parents, Robert and Beth Lucas; grandparents, Henryetta and Albert Wilber; Aunt Billie and Uncle Bill Birmingham; Uncle Chris and Aunt Sharon Lucas, Aunt Joy and Uncle Bill Mawn, Aunt Robin and Uncle Lee Clark, Aunt Pam Greenway and all of his numerous cousins. The funeral service will be held at Dorsey-E. Earl Smith Memory Gardens Funeral, 3041 Kirk Road, Lake Worth, FL, Pastor Steve Thomas will be officiating. Visitation will be held on December 14, 2013 from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM to be followed by a service. Eric will be buried Sunday, December 15, 2013 at 2:00 PM at Riverside Memorial Park, 19351 SE County Line Road, Tequesta, FL. The family would like to thank the following persons for the part that they played in Eric's life in helping him to become the young man that he was. The First Baptist Church of Delray Beach, FL, his Wellington football and golf teams, Dennis and Amy Yuzenas (Boy Scouts), the Pawa family, the Bedner family, Terry and Annette Marvin, Joshua McGehee, Chuck and Sally Slaton and Eric's extended family at Palm Beach International Airport to include Sergeant Yvonne Cacioli and Lt. Ken Voiret. The family would also like to thank all of Eric's countless wonderful friends and relatives. You guys are awesome. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Sheriff Ric Bradshaw and the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office along with John Kazanjian, Palm Beach County PBA. Eric was born March 12, 1993, the night of the storm of the century. He graduated from Wellington High School and attended Palm Beach State College. Eric had worked as a Parking Enforcement Specialist for the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office part time for almost a year and was recently elated to become a full time employee. Eric had a passion for physical fitness and enjoyed helping others achieve their goals. He also enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Eric loved country music and driving around in his four-wheel drive truck. Eric had an amazing personality and was eager to help everyone. He touched many lives and was an awesome young man.
