Dear Susan, Fred, Dean and families; May the Lord give you great peace in the homecall of your father. I have wonderful memories of early Hickory Cove Bible Camp years under Brother Fred's ministry, as well as a girlhood friendship with Susan. I would love to get in touch with Susan again, perhaps through Facebook?

Brother Fred was a man of God who served the Lord with great compassion in reaching out to people in all walks of life.  God used him to encourage me to serve the Lord on a full time basis. Bro. Fred took me to India in 1994 and we prayed and preached together to the people in India,God touched my heart to leave my gainful employment and to serve Him fully. Pam, Abby, and I loved him and his family deeply, and valued him highly. His whole life can be summed up in one word, "FAITHFUL". He was faithful to His Lord Jesus; he was faithful to his loving wife Mary; he was faithful to his children, his grandchildren, and faithful in serving the Lord at all times.  He will be greatly missed, but fondly remembered by us. We never see each other for the last time, because we shall meet again. 2Cor.5:8.  May the Lord cuddle the family in His love and carry them in His strength.

I will always have a special place in my heart for Brother Fred.
He was a Godly man whose life was being a servant to all of us and his focus always on God. How special he was to my family and myself . I enjoyed every trip and visit with him.

Dear Susan, Fred, Dean and family,
Our sorrow is overtaken by our joy that Fred and Mary are now together again in heaven.  Their sacrifices on earth are so numerous that there will be no end now to the peace of joy of God's love.  We will contact the VA Hospice on his behalf.  Love, Logan and Dorothy

Dear Susan & Roy, Fred & Corinne and Dean & Cindy, and your families
A tireless soldier for the Lord has gone home to his Savior, retired from active earthly service but eternally active in the praise and worship of the Lord he served!
It was my joy to know Fred and to travel with him on several occasions to the Haitian communities in the sugar cane camps in the Dominican Republic. It was a huge blessing to watch and work with such a committed servant of Christ. He has marked my life. The Lord Jesus Christ, who has received Fred home with his "well done!", remains with you to comfort and cheer you as you celebrate his ultimate promotion.

What a blessing Rev. Carlson was for many years to Moody Radio South Florida/WRMB 89.3FM as he regularly visited and picked up Bibles that were delivered by our listeners.  He would take them and send them all over the world to people who had no Bible.  He loved His Savior, and it was a joy for him to do this.  I always loved when he came.  What a precious servant's heart.  May God comfort you in your loss, but we know that He is with His Savior.
