He was born on the 26th of May 1944 in Lima, Ohio, the son of Nelson and Lucille Spyker. He is survived by his brother Dennis Spyker (Gerri), wife Janice Spyker, son Shawn Spyker (Barbara), daughter Shannon Good (Robert), daughter Laurin Spyker (Jeff), and grandchildren Elise Good, Sierra and Jet Coursey, and several nephews and one niece.
Gary's hobbies included hotrods and drag racing, motorcycles, horses, bowling, boating, water skiing, and flying. He was a champion drag racer, winning many trophies over his lifetime.
There will be a Graveside Service on Tuesday, August 8, 2017 at 11:30 a.m. at the Lake Worth Memory Gardens, 3041 Kirk Road, Lake Worth, Florida 33461. Arrangements are under the direction of Dorsey-E. Earl Smith Funeral Home of Lake Worth.
There will be a Celebration of Life at The Gathering, 1735 S. W. 24th Avenue, Okeechobee, Florida 34974 at 11 a.m. on Saturday, August 12, 2017.
