Harvey Alten Littlefield, 88, died May 1, 2026. He was born January 8, 1938, and was a resident of Boynton Beach, Florida. Harvey was a beloved and cherished presence—devoted, gentle, kind-hearted, loyal, selfless, and thoughtful in the steady ways that matter most.
Raised by his grandmother and educated through the 8th grade, Harvey carried forward a quiet strength and an enduring sense of responsibility. He went into the Army Reserve, a commitment that reflected his dependable nature and willingness to serve.
For much of his working life, Harvey was employed as a maintenance man. In that role, his care for others showed through practical help, patient attention, and the simple dignity of doing what needed to be done—faithfully and without seeking recognition.
Harvey was married to Linda Littlefield, who preceded him in death. His love for his wife and family remained at the center of his life. He is survived by his children: Ruth Haley, Curt Littlefield, and Jeffrey Littlefield; and his stepdaughter, Karen LaFrance. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Zachary LaFrance and Lindsay Wilson, and by 8 great-grandchildren.
In his everyday life, Harvey found joy and peace in simple, meaningful routines—working in the yard, feeding the birds, and spending time in his shop. These were the places where his gentle spirit and thoughtful care were most easily seen.
Harvey belonged to First Congregation of Lake Worth, where his devotion was expressed through service. He fed the homeless, helped with the voting booth, and took part in bingo on Tuesday nights—acts of kindness that spoke to a loyal heart and a selfless commitment to community.
To those who knew him, Harvey was, simply, the nicest guy in the world. He will be missed, and his family is glad he is in Heaven with mother.
