85, of Palm Springs, FL, passed away on January 24, 2011. She had been a resident of South Florida since 1967 having moved from Charleston, SC. Before retirement, Mrs. Hare was a teacher at Clifford O. Taylor/Kirklane Elementary School as well as softball coach and scorekeeper for Palm Beach County.
Survivors include her children, Clark (Lynda) Hare, Lynn (Eddie) Ward, and Brett (Connie) Hare; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
The Hare family will receive their friends from 6 PM until 8 PM on Wednesday, January 26th at the funeral home. A funeral service will be held at 10:30 AM on Thursday, January 27th at Good Shepherd United Methodist Church, 2341 S. Military Trail, West Palm Beach, FL 33415. Mrs. Hare will be laid to rest following the funeral service at Lake Worth Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Jean Hare to Hospice of Palm Beach County.
