Age 81 of Loxahatchee, FL and Blairsville, GA passed away March 29, 2016. She was born in Brockton, MA to Esther and Ralph Akerman. Jeanne was a member of Family Motorcoach Assoc., and Florida Suncoasters. Jeanne traveled all over the United States and Canada. She is survived by her loving husband, Richard E. Gardner (retired Captain, P.B.C. Fire Rescue); sons, Richard W. Gardner (wife, Maureen) and Timothy B. Gardner (wife, Kim); daughter, Kathy Gardner Simmons (husband, Charlie); sister, Dorothy Wade (husband, Randy); grandchildren, Dustin Gardner, Chase Gardner, Brian Ader, Kyle Ader, Taylor Gardner, Shane Simmons and Shannon Simmons; great grandchildren, Greyson Glenn Ader and Adam Mazourek. Jeanne was preceded in death by her brother, Al Akerman; Friends may visit from 1:00pm – 2:00pm on Friday, April 1st at Dorsey-E. Earl Smith Funeral Home, Lake Worth, FL. Funeral services begin at 2:00pm, with interment to follow at Lake Worth Memory Gardens.
