JC was born 4/17/1926 in Cos Cob, CT to parents Joseph and Emilia (Petrone) Caravetta.
An accomplished accordionist, JC toured the world during the second WW performing for solders as a member of USO camp shows. Upon returning, JC played professionally in NYC into his mid 20's until he left performing to open a music instruction school in Danbury, CT. It was here where he met the love of his life Arline whom he married and together raised two sons. JC ran "Carvette School of Music and Dance" for 30 years where countless students learned to play musical instruments and dance before closing shop and moving to Lake Worth, FL. Here he continued his success as an owner operator of multiple seasonal apartment and commercial buildings in the Lake Worth area. JC reluctantly retired from property management in his mid 80's.
JC is predeceased by his wife Arline (Butera) Carvette, brothers Joseph and Richard Caravetta, and sister Vera Magliari. He leaves sons John Jr. and Robert Carvette, and grandchildren Caden and Clara Carvette along with many loving nieces and nephews.
