John H. Ryan was born on May 22, 1927 in New York. He passed away on December 20, 2012 at home in West Palm Beach, FL. He was predeceased by his wife LaVerne L. Ryan. John is survived by his niece Karen Varney (Kevin), grandniece Katelyn Varney, niece Joanne Chando (John), niece Linda Meschino (Edward), grandniece/nephew Megan and Neil Meschino, nephew Joseph Griesbeck (Dianne) and many family members that will also miss him deeply. John was generous and caring with all his friends and family. He will be greatly missed by the many lives he touched. He enlisted in the US Marine Corps in July 1945 and was a WWII Veteran. He retired from Bellsouth on April 30, 1991 after over 30 years of service. A Celebration of Life will be held on January 19, 2013 from 1 to 2 PM with a Memorial Service at 2 PM, followed by a graveside service at 3 PM at Lake Worth Memory Gardens.
