RIP Lily D...I reasearched what your name means. Your name means so many things,like: light, purity, hope, love,and strength, for me, it greatly meant "TRUE LOVING FRIEND". I will continue praying for strength for your children, mother,friends, and family. I'm only going to say farewell Lily, I don't do goodbyes, and especially I'm counting on seeing you again one day with Jesus. You were a true friend through the years, you always had my back, we spent many days working long evenings together. I can see your smile, hear your laugh with that twinkle in your eyes. I will never forget your "oh sugar"! (your form of cussing) LOL. You and Arthur shared one of the best times of my life, and tbat was sharing your beautiful Momo (Monica) with me. I remember the nights she wouldn't sleep, you would call me and I would talk to her over the phone, and she would fall asleep for us that way.Monica knows she can call me anytime.I'm still available to her, 19 years later. We had the great pleasure of spending a small amount of time with Lily when we went to Viola's brother's funeral many years ago, but instantly we knew how special she was, not only by her beautiful smile, but mainly by her outgoing and warm personality. Aunt Lily. I will always remember that smile. It was hard not to laugh and smile when you were around. You always made sure we were well fed and comfortable in your home. I will miss you terribly. I am so glad that I was able to see you on my last visit home. There is never enough time, but I will keep the memories of you close to my heart.
