Maria Tarangelo

It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. With deep sorrow we announce the passing of Maria Tarangelo (Plantation, Florida), on August 24, 2022, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. Maria was born June 21, 1923 in San Fele, Italy to Carlo and Francesa Bencivenga.

Maria is survived by: daughter, Angela Nadler (husband, Mark); son, Sebastian Tarangelo (wife, Catherine); grandchildren, David Nadler (Rikki Klaus), Adam Nadler, Marissa Cote (Adam), and Paul Tarangelo (Mary Grace); great grandchildren, Beckett Klaus-Nadler, and Lyla Cote.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Donato Tarangelo in 1996; and her four brothers.

A gathering of family & friends for Maria will be held Sunday, August 28, 2022 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Dorsey-E. Earl Smith Memory Gardens Funeral Home, 3041 Kirk Road, Lake Worth, FL 33461. A funeral mass will occur Monday, August 29, 2022 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at St. Luke Catholic Church, 2892 South Congress Avenue, Palm Springs, FL 33461. An entombment will follow at 3:15 PM at Lake Worth Memory Gardens, 3041 Kirk Road, Lake Worth, FL 33461.
