Martin “Marty” George Torino age 95 of Southwest Ranches and formerly of Lake Worth, FL passed away at home surrounded by his loving family on Thursday, August 8th, 2024. He was born in New Haven, CT to the late John and Catherine Torino.
Marty graduated from the University of New Haven. He had a career in Real Estate. He enjoyed playing cards and time with his family and was “adopted” by many as DAD.
He was the loving husband to Josephine (Tina) Torino (deceased). He is the loving father to Valerie (Peter) Steele, Jo-Ann (Kurt) Iannuzzi, and Lisa (Mark) Torino. Grandfather to Lauren (Bart) Steele, Kristyn (Keith) Hoffman, Anthony (Ashley) Steele, Chelsea (Michael) Brown. He has 7 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by 7 brothers and 1 sister and is survived by his sister Rose (Babe) Hubon.
Family and friends may gather from 6:00 – 9:00pm on Wednesday, August 14, 2024 at Dorsey-E. Earl Smith Funeral Home, 3041 Kirk Road, Lake Worth, FL 33461. A Catholic Prayer Service will be held at 7:00pm during that time. Marty’s graveside service with military honors will take place at 1:30pm on Thursday, August 15, 2024 at South Florida National Cemetery, 6501 South S.R. 7, Lake Worth, FL 33467.
