A devoted wife and mother, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 67 years, Ronald Hansrote, and her youngest son, Paul. She is survived by her sister, Audrey Westfall Boyd; her brother, Loy Glenn Westfall; her children, Roger (Ligya), Mark (Christine), and Linda; her daughter-in-law, Joanne; and her cherished grandchildren, Alexander, Andrea, Christopher, and Skylar.
Originally from Ohio, she married her high school classmate and the love of her life, Ronald Hansrote. Together they built a remarkable life and partnership. She became a registered nurse while he became a physician, and they proudly practiced medicine side by side for more than 25 years.
A woman of many accomplishments, she was also a licensed commercial pilot — a testament to her determination and adventurous spirit. She was active in the Woman’s Auxiliary to the American Medical Association and was a joyful member of the Red Hats. She loved gathering with friends to play bridge and dominos, always treasuring fellowship and laughter.
Her faith was the cornerstone of her life. A devoted Christian and strong believer in God, she loved studying the Bible and faithfully led Bible study fellowships for many years, inspiring others through her example and steadfast belief.
She will be remembered for her strength, grace, deep faith, and unwavering love for her family.
