Our Queen, Patricia “Patty, “Tricia” Ann Dillard, has answered a call to reunite with missed loved ones. Patricia was preceded in death by both parents, John Williard and Sadie Lee Hall. Her brothers, Anthony “Ant”, George, Lorenzo, Willie “James”, and Larry Hall. And it makes two years, this past July, of the loss of her loving husband, Brock Dillard of 42 years of marriage, united on January 1, 1978.
Patricia, who was born in Mobile, Alabama then moved to Chicago Il., was born on September 24, 1957. A country girl gone city is what she was. Her favorite moments included cooking, reading a good romance novel, being with and around family, and writing. She always offered knowledge in some way to those who were blessed to be in her presence. This is what led her to publish a ‘Inspirational Reflections for Life Challenges” inspiring words book in 2007. She was kind, loving, and nurturing to all of us. She enlightened thoughts through mere conversations.
She was carried away from this life in God's embrace on Friday, September 30, 2022. She has gifted us with memories of love and life lessons to carry in our hearts.
Patricia leaves a family legacy consisting of four children: Tamaike Hall (Courtney), Johnetta (T.J.), Julius (Shayla), Jordan Dillard (Gladia) and 8 grandchildren and one great-grandson. Four sisters and two brothers: Gladys Hall-Netty (Alex), Rebecca Austin (Curtis), Shirley Hall (Johnnie), Sheila Williams (Willie), John Jr (the late Eleanor) Herman Hall Sr. (the late Hilda). She leaves an extended family legacy of nieces and nephews, with numerous other great-nieces and nephews, cousins, other relatives, and family of friends.
A visitation for Patricia will be held Saturday, October 15, 2022 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Dorsey-E. Earl Smith Memory Gardens Funeral Home, 3041 Kirk Road, Lake Worth, FL 33461.
