Phyllis Pirkle

Phyllis G. Pirkle, Age 94 of West Palm Beach, FL passed away April 26, 2012. She was born in Middletown, CT to James and Lillian Griffin. She grew up at the Palm Beach Estate, Mar a Lago, and was married there to her late husband, Dr. Stanley O. Pirkle. Phyllis had a passion for ballroom dancing in her later years.

Phyllis is survived by: sons, Stanley Pirkle Jr. of Coconut Grove, FL, Dr. Thomas J. Pirkle (Marn) of Palm Springs, FL, William S. Pirkle (Linda) of Lake Worth, FL; brother, James B. Griffin, Jr. (Robelle); sister, Lorraine Brainard (William); grandchildren, Dr. Kelly Hartline Skelton (Bret), Matthew Hartline (Amy), Jimmy Pirkle (Sofie), Dr. Patrick Pirkle (Farrah), Kimberley Daly (Shaun) and Stephen Pirkle; great grandchildren, Benjamin Skelton, Elisabeth Skelton, Ashely and Gavin Hartline, Liam Pirkle, Kai Pirkle and Griffin Morrone; niece and nephews. She is preceded in death by: husbands, Dr. Stanley O. Pirkle and Abraham Fink, her brother Norman Griffin and daughter Phyllis Hartline.

Friends may visit from 1:00 – 2:00pm on Saturday, May 5, 2012 at the funeral home. Funeral services will take place at 2:00pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are requested to Hospice of Palm Beach County, 5300 East Ave, West Palm Beach, FL 33407.
