Richard A. Maffei, a Jersey City native and diehard New York Jets fan, was born on February 10, 1951, and passed away on November 9, 2025, at the age of 74. A resident of West Palm Beach, Florida, Richard is reunited with his beloved wife, Marlene Maffei.
He leaves behind his children Joel, Anthony, and Monique Maffei, his sister Francine D’Anna, and his cherished grandson Carter. He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at Dorsey - E. Earl Smith Funeral Home, located at 3041 Kirk Road, Lake Worth, Florida, 33461. The service is scheduled for November 17, 2025, starting at 1:00 pm.
