Scott Anthony Ritze

Jupiter, FL—-Scott Anthony Ritze, 32, died peacefully on Monday, March 7, 2022 at Jupiter Medical Center surrounded by his family. He was born the son of David R. Ritze and Lisa M. (Mazzone) Ritze. He was born in West Palm Beach, FL and grew up in Spencer, MA. He returned to West Palm Beach in 2012.

He leaves his mother, Lisa M. Ritze and his loving sister, Carmen Lyn Ritze.

Scott also leaves his step father, Roger A. Rivner, and step brothers and sister-in-law Nathan G. Rivner and his wife, Misti, and Bryan Ritze.

He leaves his uncles John A. Mazzone and the Rev. James S. Mazzone, and aunt, Monique Blanchard Mazzone. Scott also leaves his cousins, Joseph (Alex) A. Mazzone and his wife Lauren, John (Jack) A. Mazzone and Sophia D. Mazzone.

Scott was especially close to his great aunt, Dorothy A. Laukaitis and also leaves great aunts Nancy V. Brosnan, Antoinette M. Laukaitis, great uncles Robert A. Mazzone and Vincent E. Cox. He also leaves a large group of extended family and friends who were important to him, including Barbara and Ken Zuniga, Freida and Skyler Alfred, Susan Love, Cheryl Paynter and Jan Topper.

He is predeceased by his grandparents Anthony M. Mazzone and Eleanor E. Mazzone and uncle Joseph M. Mazzone. On his paternal side, he is predeceased by grandparents Harold Ritze and his wife Marge, and Estelle Ammons and her husband, Shellie, and aunt Frances Peeden and her husband Donnie.

Scott attended Wentworth Institute of Technology, in the electrical/mechanical engineering program. Scott was a creative musician and artist. He enjoyed nature and spending time with family and friends. He rescued an injured cat, U, and enjoyed caring for and spending time with her.

A Memorial Service will be held:

First United Methodist Church of Jupiter

Jupiter, FL 33477

A Celebration of Life gathering immediately following the service at 220 Sims Creek Drive, Jupiter.

Interment will be at a later date.
