Age 87 of Greenacres, FL passed away April 10, 2018 (one day shy of 88). She was born April 11, 1930 in Oak Park, IL to John Alexander Roberts and Ruth Shirley (Larson). Shirley was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary and NARV. She is survived by her loving family: children, Laura Shepard (Gary), Janice Marchant and Ronald Chapman (Glenda) all of West Palm Beach, FL; sister, Sharon Peddycord of Merrillville, IN; grandchildren, Cheryl Archer, Ben Shepard, Chris Chapman, Crystal Dielman, Stacey Rigdon and Luke Chapman; 14 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years marriage, Glenn Chapman in 1999; son, Tom Chapman; sister, Miriam Roberts; brother, John Roberts. Family and friends may gather from 3:00pm – 4:00pm on Saturday, April 28, 2018. Memorial services will be held at 4:00pm at Dorsey-E. Earl Smith Funeral Home, 3041 Kirk Road, Lake Worth, FL 33461.
