

A memorial mass will be held on Thursday, February 28, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. at the All Souls Catholic Church with Father Dave Rykwalder officiating. Inurnment will be at a later a date at Chimney Rock Cemetery.
Donna was born on September 21, 1957 in Alliance, Nebraska, the daughter of Donald “Ted” A. and Alberta (Ballinger) Woodrum. She attended country school, graduating from Bridgeport High School in 1975. She went to work for Wendy Lummel at the Newsblade for a short time. She made her career at the Health & Human Services Dept. as a child/adult protective service worker for over 20 years. She also worked at the Heritage of Bridgeport nursing home and enjoyed the people there very much. She enjoyed life to the fullest and loved her family, children, grandchildren and friends. If you needed anything, she was there for you.
She married Ted Jackson on September 22, 1980 in Bridgeport.
Donna was an avid reader, a good cook and seamstress and liked to ride motorcycles, She enjoyed directing and staring in the many Camp Clark plays. She loved to entertain. She was a member of the All Souls Catholic Church.
Survivors include her husband, Ted; children Mariah (Alfredo) Dominguez and daughter, Mercedes of Broadwater; Andy (Bethany) Jackson and son Curtis of Bridgeport; and Gunnar Jackson (Katie Bright) and son Eli of Minatare; brothers: Steve (Barbara) Woodrum of Gering, Allen (Pam) Woodrum of Irvine, CA and John (Mary Jo) Woodrum of St. Louis, MO; father and mother-in-law, Joe and Ruth Jackson of Bridgeport; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Becky (Stan) Goltl of Bridgeport, Mary Jackson of Scottsbluff, Dan Jackson of Ft. Collins and Bill (Melanie) Jackson of Ft. Collins and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.She was preceded in death by her parents and sister Lois Cannon.
