Beatrice Julie Uba

On Friday April 29, 2022 Beatrice "Julie" Uba mother, sister, daughter, and beloved grandmother, passed away at the age of 59 in Lakewood, Colorado. Julie was born on February 14,1963 in Denver Colorado to William Marty Cordova and Mary Martha Martinez.

Julie loved spending time in the kitchen, when she wasn't cooking for her family, you could catch her snacking on green olives or a cheese and pepperoni plate. She had a love for music, some of her favorite tunes coming from numerous Motown artists. Julie's children were her pride and joy until she became a grandmother; her happiest moments were spent watching all of her grandchildren grow. She had a special nickname for each of her children and grandchildren. Julie also had a creative side which she expressed through writing poetry or crocheting blankets. Those who knew Julie well could attest to her having a light hearted sense of humor with a contagious laugh to go along with it. In her 59 years of living Julie acquired many stories along the way which she enjoyed sharing with children and her grandchildren. Julie had a generosity towards anyone who may have needed a helping hand; her kindness will live on for those she helped.

Julie is survived by her children George, Elvis, Alisha, Valerie; her sisters Carmen, Jeanette, Jessica;her brothers Ben, Frank, Derek; her granddaughters Destiny, Anastasia, Geovania, Jonia, Marceline; her grandsons Ernie, George. Julie will also be forever remembered by her numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and dear friends.
