Growing up in Colorado, Clarence loved everything it had to offer including fishing and hunting. He also loved sports, especially the Colorado Rockies. In his eyes, they were the world's best baseball team, not because they won every time but because they were a Colorado staple, just like him.
Clarence worked as a heavy equipment operator for the City and County of Denver for many years. He was so good at his job that he took 1st place in the heavy equipment operator rodeo several years in a row. When Clarence retired, the City and County of Denver lost a great worker.
Clarence liked to bowl during his free time. He once bowled a 300 game using his left hand. Not many people were able to achieve that score, but Clarence did.
Clarence also liked to bake. Everyone looked forward to Christmas because that's when he would bake tasty Christmas Wreaths with nuts and dried fruit.
Like most, Clarence endured challenges throughout his life, however, he always kept a smile on his face. That was his signature. Sadly, on July 9th, Clarence's smile faded as he slipped peacefully into eternity. He passed away in his hometown of Denver, Colorado. He joins his beloved wife, Madeline and many family members who have gone before him.
He will forever be cherished by those he has left behind, including his children, Julian (Gail), Mike (Robin) Stephanie, Ronnie, Lisa (Jasson) and Kristina; grandchildren, Erica, Alexandra, Danielle, Jessica, Jennifer, Brittany, Antonio, John, Sabrina, Mary, Alyssa, Devon, Janae, and Andres; 25 great grandchildren; his sister, Elaine; and many extended family members and friends.
Clarence will be laid to rest in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Wheat Ridge, Colorado.
