

Clorice L. Trujillo, 69, Commerce City. Born August 28, 1952 in Leadville, CO; died December 20, 2021 in Denver, CO. Clorice was a proud mother of four children. She was the mother of two biological children, and she adopted her grandson and granddaughter. Clorice was a devout follower of Christ, and she loved being part of the Church. She started singing at a very young age in church. Singing was something she continued to do throughout her entire life. Clorice was the member of many well-known choirs around the Denver Metro area. She performed at some of the most prominent services like Easter at Red Rocks, Church Christmas programs and Catholic Mariachi church services. She was a Sunday School teacher, and it was important to her to always be involved in every event supporting the Church. Clorice was very well-liked in the community and will be missed deeply.
Clorice is survived by her two sisters Mae Medeles and Vera O’Mara, her children, grandchildren, great-grandchild, nieces, and nephew – Celena Duran (Jen), Jeremiah Duran (Candis), Jonah Trujillo, Diamond Trujillo, Kaleb Duran, Danielle Duran, Fenyx Duran, and Elijah Duran. Nieces and Nephew - Francine Ketelaar (David, Mark and Rachel), Doreen Rodriquez (Dennis, Christopher, and Michael), and Levi Medeles (Glenda, Xavier, Adam and Amen).
A graveside service for Clorice will be held Friday, January 28, 2022 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, 12801 W. 44th Ave., Wheat Ridge, CO 80033. Please meet the family at the main gate by the Mt. Olivet sign.
