After graduating from Abraham High School in 1973, Daniel worked passionately as a baker. While he had a deep appreciation for fishing, traveling, early rock and roll music, football (especially the Denver Broncos), and spending time with his motorcycle crew, there was nothing he loved more than spending time with his family and friends.
He leaves behind his brother Larry Smith, sister Susan Smith, daughters Jammi Chvatal (Kevin Chvatal) and Stepheni Baldivia, grandchildren Zoe Baldivia Nascimento, Gabrial Baldivia, Tyler Chvatal, Logan Chvatal, and his great grandchild Daniel Nascimento II.
He is preceded in death by his parents Howard and Luvina Smith.
