Donald L. Bauer, 77, of Lakewood, Colorado, passed away on June 3, 2016. He was born in Sedgwick, Colorado on January 27, 1939. Don graduated from Sedgwick High School and served in the United States Army. He retired from Gates Rubber Company after 40 years of service. He was married to Lou Ann Konz on December 29, 1962. He was a lifetime member of the Knights of Columbus. He enjoyed rebuilding cars and had a talent for fixing things. He was survived by children; Mike (Lisa) Bauer, Marty (Shelly) Bauer, Michelle ( Mike) Wisenski, Nicole Lee Ann (Warren) Roberts. Grandchildren; Aleeyah and Savannah Roberts, Jakob and Linsey Bauer, Matthew and Madeline Wisenski and Janai Frank. Siblings; Jeanette Hershfeldt, Wayne Bauer, and Jim Bauer.
Preceded in death by Parents Opal and John Bauer, Son Donald M. Bauer and Brother Kenney Bauer.
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, June 9, 2016 at St. Bernadette's Catholic Perish , Rosary at 9:30am, Mass at 10am with a reception to follow in the parish hall. Fort Logan burial will take place on Monday, June 13, 2016 at 9:15 am Stage "C."
