Janice Dunbar

Beloved wife, mother and grandmother, Janice Nedra Dunbar of Littleton, CO passed away at her home Friday, March 21, 2014 surrounded by her loving family.

Janice was a graduate of Loretto Heights College, Class of 1955, Bachelor of Music Education Degree. She married Joseph R. Dunbar in August of 1955 and relocated to Gillette, Wyoming in 1964 where Joe built his well-servicing business. She was active in the community organizing Community Concerts, serving on the Public Land Board and City Council, and the Wyoming Music Teachers Association. She taught piano from her studio, the Keyboard Institute and served as Music Director for St. Matthews Catholic Church for many years.

She is preceded in death by her parents and one son, Joseph W. Dunbar (Gillette). She is survived by her husband Joseph (Littleton), her children Kathleen, Michael, James, Mary, Jennifer and Steven and 10 grandchildren.

Visitation is from 6pm-7pm March 27, 2014 at the Runyan Stevenson Chapel, 6425 W. Alameda Ave., with a Rosary following at 7pm. Mass of the Christian Burial will be at 10:30 am March 28, 2014, St Francis Carbrini Catholic Church, 6673 W Chatfield Ave., Littleton, CO with internment at Fairmont Cemetery.
