Jean Smith married Norman Lange June 18, 1949. Jean retired from Empire Silk Screen after working there 26 years in 1996. She volunteered for many years at Gundersen Health System and Our Saviors Lutheran church. She was an avid reader and loved to work in her flower garden.
She is survived by her children, Nancy, Denise and David and four grandchildren, Brian Freisinger (Linda), Cadie Sommer (Damien), Hunter and Ava Lange.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Norman and son Gregory.
Service and burial will be at a later date.
