Leslie August Brandt Jr.

Leslie August Brandt Jr., was a beloved father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He was a Denver native, born August 19, 1937 in Denver, Colorado to Georgia Ilene Richards Brandt and Leslie A. Brandt, Sr. He passed away on March 4, 2022 in Thornton. Leslie was 84 years old.

Leslie attended Denver South High School and graduated in 1955. He enlisted in the Army and upon his return from active duty in 1957, married Barbara Jean. They were married for 27 years until Barbara passed away in 1984. He was a Salesman for Denver Marble and Granite, and really loved what he did. In 1985, Leslie met and married Norma Rastberger, she also preceded him in death in 2012.

Leslie is survived by his son James (Ericka); his daughter Carol (Jason); his step daughter Dawn; and his step son Scott; his sister Mary Lou; his granddaughters, Heather, Madison, and Kendra; his grandsons Tyler and Luke; his great granddaughters Shelbylynn and Kinsley, and his great grandsons Tristan and Henry. Leslie is also survived by extended family members and friends.

Leslie was preceded in death by his first wife Barbara Jean Boyer Brandt; his father Leslie A. Brandt, Sr and his mother Georgia Ilene Richards Brandt; his second wife, Norma; and his step-son, Scott Rastberger.

A funeral service for Leslie will be held Thursday, March 10, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Advantage Runyan-Stevenson. Following the funeral service will be a committal service at 12:30 PM at Olinger Crown Hill Mortuary & Cemetery in Wheat Ridge, CO.
