He is preceded in death by his father, Robert Carl Phelps and brother, Buddy Phelps. He was survived by his mother, Margie Phelps; daughter, Anita (Loren) Wilson; partner, Bonnita Lenard; 5 granddaughters; 3 great grandchildren; siblings, Abe (Aurora) Phelps, Christopher (Yolanda) Phelps, Roberta Garcia, Sylvia Meastes, Jeannie Chacon, Julie (David) Martinez; numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorial Mass will be held at 10:00AM on Friday, June 12th, 2015 at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, 1345 West Dakota Avenue, Denver, Colorado 80219.
After the Mass, there will be a reception to follow at Calvary Indian Church, 933 South Perry, Denver, Colorado 80219.
