Manuel joined the Army around the age of 17. He was stationed in the Middle East and Germany. He got his High School Diploma and honorably discharged. He worked for the City and County of Denver for 30 years.
Manuel is preceded in death by his parents Earnest and Lucy Lucero, sisters Helen Lucero and Nadine Lucero, and his brother Ernest Lucero Jr.
He is survived by his wife Becky, children Alexandria (Bryan), Manuel Jr., and Christopher(Sonja),
11 grandchildren, 5 sisters, 2 brothers and numerous nieces and nephews.
