

In 1939 the family moved to Colorado. He attended schools in Lamar and later in Lakewood, where the family lived for several years.
Marvin enlisted in the Navy in 1951. He was trained as a Radioman and assigned to the destroyer USS Halsey Powell. While stationed in San Diego, he met the love of his life on a blind date. He married Doris Pollock in September of 1952 and later was transferred to the island of Guam.
After his discharge in 1955, Marvin and his family moved to Denver. He began working for the Denver Tramway driving a city bus. Marvin then began working at Rocky Mountain Bank Note in 1962, as a check printer. He retired from there in 1994 after 32 years.
While Marvin and Doris were raising their 3 children, Sheri, Cathy and Gary, they enjoyed such activities as camping, square dancing, bowling, and traveling to visit family. They were also active members of Northwest Baptist Church.
Marvin and Doris enjoyed many years together, recently celebrating their 63rd wedding anniversary in Williamsburg, Virginia.
He was a loving son, beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and uncle. His family was his greatest joy and we have all been blessed to have had him in our lives.
Marvin is preceded in death by his parents, his brother Carl and his nephew Tom Arnold.
Marvin is survived by his wife Doris; children, Sheri Bailey, Cathy Stancec (Mark), and Gary Muck (Kimberle); grandchildren, Audra Burke (Joshua), Katie Goens (Lance), Jared Berger, Anthony Muck (Erika), Andrew Muck (Erika), and Adam Muck (Alora); great-grandchildren, Brooklynn Muck, Grady Burke, Conner and Ashlynn Muck, Aedan and Kayla Goens, and Lillian Muck; sister-in-law, Mary Ann Muck, two nephews, Terry Arnold and Bill Muck, and several family members on his wife’s side of the family.
