She was born in Brush, Morgen County, Colorado on June 1, 1932, the daughter of Christian Walter and Anna Marie (Uhrich) Walter.
Mary Ann graduated from Brush High School in 1950 and went to school for Airline Radio Communications in Omaha, Nebraska. Following graduation Mary Ann moved to Denver, Colorado where she met her husband Charles Arthur (Chuck) Fyler and the couple were married November 9, 1952 in Brush, Colorado. Four children were born: Tina Devereaux of Lakewood, Michael of Denver, Cindy Fitzgibbons of Meeker, Colorado, and Tim of Eagle, Colorado. Mary Ann and Chuck had 11 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. Mary Ann was preceded in death by her husband Chuck; her parents, Christian and Anna Marie Walter; sisters Emma, Helen, Frieda, and Gladys; her brothers Arthur and Victor; and her great-granddaughter Hadassah Larsen,
Memorial Service will be held on February 11, 2018 at Eaton Senior Communities 333 S. Eaton St., Lakewood, CO 80226 in the Centrum Room chapel at 2:00 pm, parking on the West side of building; follow signs to the south door.
